Ever since I got into makeup, Urban Decay has been one of my go to brands! I’ve been in love with so many of their eye palettes, and single eyeshadows… I just love the range because it does naturals through to bold and out there. So when I heard they were releasing a new lipstick range, I was curious.

And then I saw it!

Needless to say, when they advertise the range as 100 addictive shades and 6 indulgent finishes, I’m going to have a lot of favourites popping up in it.

The finishes include: Mega Matte (super intense matte), Comfort Matte (creamy matte), Cream (the original finish), Metallized (cream with high pearl), Sheer (punch of colour with a sheer, shiny finish) and Sheer Shimmer (slightly transparent with floating pearl).

The first of my wishlists include the colours: Bobby Dazzle, Perversion, Heroine, Gash, Zealot and Rock Steady.

The three colours above are (in order) Bobby Dazzle, Gash and Perversion.

Why are they on my list?

I tend to enjoy colours that are either completely out there or more modest, neutral almost (as well as a good red). So these three colours embrace that idea… even if it doesn’t look that way from the pictures.

When I was checking out the Vice collection, the Bobby Dazzle was shown as a metallized white, but the images of the models wearing it came across as if they were wearing just a hint of shimmer on their lips! It shows up almost as if you are wearing a shimmery, neutral gloss. It looks perfect for a quick glam up without going overboard.

Gash is a creamy, dark red which appears to work well as a bold colour without being too vivid a red.

Perversion… Perversion is a comfort matte but there is no denying it is a completely out there black.

The next three are (in order) Rock Steady, Heroine and Zealot.

Rock Steady is a cream based, almost wine coloured red. I like this colour cause it’s not a stand out red but at the same time, it’s a classic sort of red.

Heroine was always going to be on my list. I have NO idea when I would wear it outside of roller derby, but I love it. This comfort matte colour is gorgeous.

And finally on my list, the bright red Zealot! It’s a metallized red, which works for being a real statement red lippy.

As you can see from this small sample, the Vice collection has practically something for everyone. I’m not sure yet when it will be available in Australia, but I so can’t wait!
